Fantasy Football

The League was founded in 2009 and is entering its 4th season commissioned by myself... We will be posting our weekly shit talk, trades, standings, and updates throughout the season on the blog, keep posted and enjoy the show!!!

League Settings: 12 Team, 3-tier Keeper Format, non-PPR, standard scoring format (6pts for all TD's), Yahoo service, $50/team (1st Place = $400, 2nd Place =$150, 3rd Place = $50)

The unique feature in my keeper league is the rules of how you select your keepers... No one likes when 2 or 3 teams get the perfect set of 3 keepers and begin to dominate a league... So instead our league is designed to provide parody by making the keeper rules as follows...

Keeper Tier 1: One Player kept that was selected in rounds 1-4 of the draft, or was kept as a previous tier 1
Keeper Tier 2: One Player kept that was selected in rounds 5-8 of the draft, or was kept as a previous tier 2
Keeper Tier 3: One Player kept that was selected in rounds 9-12, or was kept as a previous tier 3, or was claimed on Free Agency/Waivers during the season and is not a player selected in rounds 1-8 and was not kept as a previous tier 1 or tier 2 keeper

Listed Below are the League Teams, Managers, Records, and Keeper heading into this year's draft

Division 1

The Ragging Reggins - Owner Jim Duce: The Raggin Reggins have been a middle of the pack team throughout the league's 3yr history, always competitive, but never a true contender, until this year... The Reggins are armed with a solid trio of keepers, a solid draft, and disciplined management... Look for the Reggins to make a playoff push this year

2012 Record: 4-2-0
All-Time Record: 20-22-0
Keepers: McFadden (1), Steve Smith (2), Fred Jackson (3)
Draft Picks: Hakeem Nick, Marques Colston,  Jermichael Finley, Ben Rape-Less-Burger, Donald  Brown, Darrius Heyward-Bay, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Alshon Jeffery, SEA DEF, Mike Tolbert, Kyle Rudolph, Matt Bryant

GinzoGanzaGola - Owner Mauro: Traded away  Ray Rice and somehow gave up a higher draft pick in doing so to end his campaign last year, but looks to challenge for the division against the Reggins

2012 Record: 1-5-0
All-Time Record:18-24-0
Keepers: McCoy (1), DeSean Jackson (2), LeGarrette Blount
Draft Picks: Greg Jenning, Mike Wallace, Philip Rivers, Shonn Greene, Matt Schaub,  Brent Celek, GB DEF, C.J. Spiller, Mike Williams, Garrett Hartley, Pierre Thomas, Dustin Keller

Wolff On Swole - Owner Rich Wolff: A shaky set of keepers but a solid first few rounds of the draft, along with a late QB high value pickup of Romo has the Swole seeking a wild card push this year

2012 Record: 2-4-0
All-Time Record:22-20-0
Keepers: Steve Jackson (1), Pierre Garcon (2), Antonio Brown (3)
Draft Picks: Matt Forte, Vernon Davis, Tony Romo, Nate Washington, RGIII, HOU DEF, Jacob Tamme, Ben Tate, Brian Quick, Jonathan Dwyer,Mason Crosby, Leandard Hankerson

Goin To The Ship - Owner Mike Coates: After a Suck-for-Luck end to last year this looks to be a true bridge-year for myself as my team name indicates my 2013 outlook, not this season's

2012 Record: 3-3-0
All-Time Record:19-23-0
Keepers: Turner (1), Jordan Nelson (2), Meachem (3)
Draft Selections: Brees , Matthews , Hernandez , Lloyd , SF DEF , Ridley , Ryan Williams , Rashad Jennings , Randy Moss , Jon Baldwin , Rueben Randle , Jason Hanso

Division 2

Big Scary Man Guy - Owner Craig Mutz: Coming up 2nd in the Suck-for-Luck but acquiring Ray Rice at the trading deadline as a new tier 1 keeper, and armed with a few high traded draft picks, Craig just basically had to not fuck it up and he would be a top 3 contender this year, post-draft, that is exactly where he lands among the top 3 teams projected for the 2012 campaign, a worst to first could be the result

2012 Record: 3-3-0
All-Time Record:16-26-0
Keepers: Ray Rice (1), Jimmy Graham (2), Mike Vick (3)
Draft Picks: Larry Fitzgerald, Dez Bryant, Ahmsd Bradshaw,  Stevie Johnson,  Reggie Wayne, Jonathan Stewart, Cedric Benson, PHI DEF, Andy Dalton, Randle Cobb, David Wilson, Sebastian Janikowski

FANGS - Owner John Cruikshank: Using whichever $6 magazine he can find at local CVS's the night before the draft and getting late round support from Craig, Crooky has managed to keep himself relative since his Rookie Campaign in the league's opening year in which he claimed the league's first Championship Title... But the division, and maybe a poor magazine selection this year, has the FANGS looking into the basement this season as a projected toilet bowl contender... Rebuilding required for the FANGS

2012 Record: 1-4-1
All-Time Record: 24-18-0
Keepers: Tom Brady (1), Kenny Britt (2), Peyton Hillis (3)
Draft Picks: Andre Johnson, Doug Martin, Demaryius Thomas, Fred Davis, PIT DEF, Michael Bush, Anquan Boldin, Rashad Mendenhall, Heath Miller, Jake Locker,  Rob Birornas, Mikel LeShoure

Prowlers - Owner Frank Mutz: The "La Familia" division brings in the veteran of the fantasy football world as Papa Frank Mutz always brings a consistent, well managed, minimal movement during the season team that finishes in the top half of the league year in and year out... After an impressive come-back last season to make the playoffs (bounced in the first round), Frank's team is set to make another strong push this year

2012 Record: 3-2-1
All-Time Record: 22-20-0
Keepers: Rodgers (1), Baltimore DEF (2), Darren Sproles (3)
Draft Picks: Marshawn Lynch, Victor Cruz, Dwayne Bowe, Tony Gonzalez, DeAngelo Williams, Sidney Rice, Jermaine Gresham, Santonio Holmes, Joe Flacco, NYG DEF, Alex Henery, Laurent Robinson

Penn State Shower Pals - NEW Owner Steve Feretti: The League welcomes our first replacement/new team manager into the league, formerly the Sackattackers owned by Kevin Uribe (Winner of the 2010 and 2nd League Title), Steve enters the league with solid experience, well-balanced drafting, and a solid set of keepers to work with out of the gate

2012 Record: 2-4-0
All-Time Record*(New as of 2012 Season): 0-0-0
Keepers: Foster (1), Flacco (2), Murray (3)
Draft Picks: Gronk, V-Jax, Matt Ryan, Bennie Wells, Denarius Moore, Jason Witten, Lance Moore, Michael Crabtree, Ronnie Hillman, David Akers, DET DEF, Davone Bess

Division 3

Duce + Gronk = Chest Bump - Owner Joe Duce: With great talent comes great responsibility... If only Duce's team wasn't injury, or had a 28pt scoring guy on the bench each week he makes the wrong personnel choices, the Duce is a 110pts one week 60pts the next week kind of rollercoster... His team name this year, a great story, Found Gronk at a bar in Boston this summer and got a moment to talk some football and throw down a leaping chest bump with the Gronk... The team looks good again ON PAPER for the Duce, but I think this guy is cursed, or at least the keepers are!

2012 Record: 4-2-0
All-Time Record: 19-23-0
Keepers: Chris Johnson (1), Jay Cutler (2), Jamaal Charles (3)
Draft Picks: Roddy White, Percy Harvin, Frank Gore, Eric Decker, Titus Young, Jared Cook, Alex Smith, Mario Manningham, Daniel Thomas, Jacquizz Rodgers, BUF DEF, Neil Rackers

The Newtons - Owner Bob Miller: The Godfather of fantasy football graces our league with his knowledge, love for rookies and the SEC, and his willingness to throw down in any trade at any time... Bob has been doing fantasy football since its creation in the early 90's (yes it did exist back then) and has help mold the structure and balance of the league... Bob enters the season with a solid set of keepers, took some flyers in the draft (once he got to all his extra picks in the 5th round) and could emerge from the division with the proper weekly personnel decisions... Look for Bob to content, trade, and bitch all season long

2012 Record: 3-3-0
All-Time Record: 20-22-0
Keepers: Megatron (1), Mark Ingram (2), Newton (3)
Draft Picks: Trent Richardson, Julio Jones, The Law-Firm, Justin Blackmon, Roy Helu, Andrew Luck, Stephen Gostkowski,  Greg Little, Coby Fleener, Michael Floyd (ARI), Tim Hightower, ATL DEF

Brian Returns Champion - Owner Brian Mederios: The guy you just want to punch in the face most of the time with his cheap and awful trade proposals may have grown up a bit this off-season. A structured draft, a good set of keepers, trade-bait for this season, and some early trading before week 1 kicked off Resulting in obtaining Brees for the season will make Brian a solid candidate to repeat as the league's 3rd Champsion

2012 Record: 3-3-0
All-Time Record: 25-17-0
Keepers: MJD (1), Stafford (2), Malcolm Floyd - SD (3)
Draft Picks: Wes Welker, Antonio Gates, Reggie Bush, Miles Autin, Eli Manning, Kevin Smith, Malcom Floyd, Toby Gerhart, NYJ DEF, Owen Daniels, Robbie Gould, Felix Jones

The King of Swole - Owner Mike Sullivan: Sully comes into the season with a solid trio of high potential high risk keepers that could have him contending for the division if he survives AP's non-100% start to the season... Sully's going to need a clean sweep of his division in weeks 12-14 to be a contender this year

2012 Record: 6-0-0
All-Time Record: 23-19-0
Keepers: AP (1), AJ Green (2), Malcin (3)
Draft Picks: Peyton Manning, Brandon Marshall, Torrey Smith, Willis McGahee, Brandon Pettigrew,  CHI DEF, Issac Redman, Brandon LaFell, Martellus Bennett, Carson Palmer, Dan Bailey, Ronnie Brown

Here is the big picture after week 6
